Scope of Practice

• Kyle offers strictly therapeutic and relaxation massage. Sexual innuendos or requests (either verbal or nonverbal) from clients will not be tolerated. Kyle reserves the right to end any session for any reason, including inappropriate language or suspected intoxication; the client is still responsible for payment for the entire amount of the scheduled appointment.

Wellness

• If you are feeling unwell (fever, new stomach upset, severe and new unexplained headache, or fever) please reschedule your appointment.  

• Client must inform therapist of any contagious skin condition, including but not limited to: poison ivy, ringworm, warts, fungal or bacterial infection, or other. Massage is locally contraindicated around the affected area, and if the condition is severe massage may be totally contraindicated.

• Client will update therapist on any new medical conditions during course of treatment.

Arrival Time

• Please try to arrive 5 minutes before your session begins. This allows time to communicate your needs for the session.

• For your first session, please arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out the intake form - unless you print and fill it out at home.

• Should you run late for your scheduled session, please let me know. If you do not arrive after 20 minutes and haven't called in, you will be charged for the full session.

• When arriving late, your session may be shortened to not interfere with other appointments. You will be responsible for payment of the full session.

• Treatment time shortened at the client's request on the day of your appointment qualifies as a rescheduled appointment; the client is still responsible for payment for the full amount of time as originally scheduled.

Cancellations

• 48 hour notice is required when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule that time slot. You will be responsible for the full price of your session if you cancel within 48 hours.

• If you are using a credit or gift certificate, it will be considered redeemed in the case of a cancellation or no-show.

• If you cannot make it to a session and it is within the 48 hour cancellation period, you are welcome to send someone to keep your appointment for you.  If your scheduled session is eligible for any discounts, they will not carry over to your stand-in.

Payment Options

• I can accept cash, paypal and venmo at this time. 

• Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to the start of the session.
